Tribodar
TRIBODAR
Tribodar is a project in nature related to PERMACULTURE and CREATIVITY, where people can realize different ecological and artistic projects, a place to dream and enjoy. It is divided in four areas: eco-building, ecological gardening, food forest and artistic activities.
Eco-building – In this area we can experiment with different forms of ecological building, using natural materials such as clay, straw, stone, and organic shapes such as domes, yurts, etc. The specific characteristic about the eco-building is that all constructions must have a green roof.
Gardening – In this area we create a vegetable garden with sustainable and permaculture techniques.
Food forest - In this area we create a food forest with sustainable and permaculture techniques.
Artistic activities – This is the space reserved for arts: music, dance, handicrafts, parties and other events.
Tribodar has, at the moment, two different terrains close to each other. “Tribodar Semente” with ¾ of hectar that is the the first nucleus of Tribodar activity with the first communal infrastructure and pemaculture based garden and “Tribodar Terra”, with around 3 hectares to develop further Permaculture and creativity activitys.
The basic sharing is two hours of work per day or fourteen hours a week for the communal needs and structures, on top of that, everybody can feel free to learn, explore, try, create, share what they feel like.
There is space for specific projects and events at specific times but also space for spontaneous experiences and events. Everybody is welcome to propose their own ideas, respecting the subjects of the different areas.
There is a lovely couple, Michael from Belgium and Moabi from Portugal, dedicating their lives to this Project.
Michael is an idealistic and realistic guy that loves an enthusiastic discussion about the world. He is also a lover of music playing some instruments such as djembé, cello, flute, didgeridoo... He has a loooot of interests in different areas, but remains tranquil dedicating slowly at each present to that interests. His main subjects are democracy and permaculture. Michael is very social and when learning or teaching something is very patient.
Moabi is an idealist and dreamy girl. Dance is her passion , the food of her soul. She is very curious about the mysteries of existence and especially the Human Kind. She is going deeper into her connection with nature and really wants to learn and apply permaculture in this project, dedicating now to the study of aquaponics. Moabi loves to be with people and communicate, as much as she loves to be alone and in silence. See her personal website about dance www.moabi-tribe.com
Everybody who wants to participate in this project must respect the following agreements:
From you...
- Help with work two hours per day or 14 hours a week
- Respect the nature, the structures and each other
- Provide your own food (we have a small and sweet communal kitchen and all kitchen material!!). We can give lifts to the shops on Thursdays and Sundays, market days – later there will be nice biological food from the garden).
- Clean up behind you
- Be independent
There for you...
- We provide gas for cooking and all kitchen utensils.
- Free yoga, dance meditation, Tribal yin BELLY DANCE class given by Moabi
- Accommodation in caravans, tents - nice mattresses and warm blankets. (Later there will be organic and ecological constructions :)
- Free Internet and showers (still Indian style with backets)
- Possibility to use our music instruments
- Possibility to use a bicycle
- Everybody can propose their own ideas to realize here
- Everybody can build his own shelter
At the moment our project is in the beginning of it's development. Before starting more creative projects, we need to build more basic ecological infrastructure:
- Solar shower
- Compost toilet
- Fixing the roads
- Repairing a small and a big barn and transforming it into a kitchen and a communal space.
- Building an earth construction with green roof and walls to be a communal space
Together lets create an ecological and artistic Paradise...
If it is your destiny, you will end up passing here ;)
See you then...
